Enrolment Terms and Conditions
B Star makes every effort to ensure all prices and program information is up to date and correct at the time of enrolment. However, we take no responsibility for any incorrect information that may appear and reserve the right to refuse any order which may contain mistakes. It is the responsibility of the students or parents to ensure that program information is correct prior to making any fee payment.
All students must strictly follow these Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) once enrolled. B Star may, from time to time and within its absolute discretion, vary the policies, procedures and website information that are referenced here in these T&Cs.
Fee Payment
B Star will provide you with an invoice for fee payment. You are expected to pay for the Session up to seven days prior to the scheduled Session date. Failure to do so means that B Star may not be able to provide the Session or Service on the agreed commencing date. The Session fee should be paid in accordance with the amount stated in an invoice which was sent to you and the selected payment methods as set out on the invoice. All fees are payable in advance. Where you cancel a pre-paid sessions before you complete the committed number of Sessions, you will not be entitled to a refund. This is to recover the costs associated with setting up your coaching sessions and securing your coach.
If the student is under 18, the parent/guardian is responsible for the payment of the Coaching Fees.
Initial Session Setup
Upon payment of your fees in full, you will receive a Welcome Message outlining the next steps to gain access to your online coaching session. Students should allow up to 4 business days to receive the welcome message.
The duration of the online coaching session is stated in the Welcome Message.
Program Transfer
Program Transfers are permitted within 14 days since course commencement, but additional two weeks of fees are forfeited and not transferrable to a new new course. Course Transfer fee will apply too and will be advised upon application.
If an application for a transfer is successful, student can transfer into a new coaching program of the fee value. If the program you are transferring into is of a lesser value, the unspent fee balance is non-refundable. If the program you are transferring into is of a higher value, the difference in value will be payable.
An invoice for the transfer fee and any outstanding balance will be issued and payable upon approval of the program transfer. Students will not be eligible for a program transfer after 14 days. No discounts will apply to the program transferred into.
Should you wish to transfer to a new program, please contact your country representative. All Program Transfers applications are subjects to B Star Head Quarter's approval. Processing time for program transfers are up to 7 days once the request has been lodged to B Star Head Quarter. Invoice will be issued within 3 working days if there us a difference in the value of the current and prospective program.
Cancellation of Enrolment
You or B Star may cancel your or your child's enrolment at any time and for any reason by providing notice in writing. Please refer to our refund policy for more information (https://www.bstarglobal.com/si...). Alternatively, please contact our country representative and provide them with enough details about your refund request for the Head Quarter to consider it.

Attendance
Be required to attend each Session on the date and time that you have booked, noting that each Session can be changed by you 24 hours prior to any Session commencing, B Star will try our best endeavour to provide a make up lesson, but no guarantee. Failure to attend and/or not providing the required minimum cancellation notice means that you will be charged a session cancellation fee for that Session. While coaching fees are non-refundable, students may have extenuating circumstances that prevent them from undertaking their program(s). Where evidence can be successfully provided to support the student’s circumstances, coaching fees may be refunded or partially refunded at the discretion of B Star. This decision of assessing the extenuating circumstances rests with the Head Quarter of B Star and shall be assessed on a case by case situation.
Make-up Session
If time is lost during one of your Sessions due to the late arrival of the coach or due to technical issues with the learning platform, B Star will compensate you for the loss of time by rescheduling a Session to another date and time that is agreed between you and the coach to make up for such loss or to extend the session if time allows.
Make-up session will also be provided for the following reasons:
- if the quality of the Session was significantly below the standard expected by B Star.
- If the coach cancels a Session and B Star is unable to provide you with a replacement coach with similar qualifications and experience or at the scheduled Session time.
Student and Parents Responsivities
- Ensure that all the information provided to B Star is accurate.
- Notify B Star of any contact changes (email, telephone, address etc.).
- Advise B Star of any difficulties or problems they may experience with B Star staff, coaches or country representative, as well as procedures.
- In your interaction with B Star's staff, coaches and country representative (including, but not limited to telephone calls, emails and instant chats) you agree to conduct yourself civilly and respectfully at all times. This also applies to parents who enrol their children into B Star's online programs.
- As a customer or student of B Star Online Coaching programs, you (parents of students) agree that you shall not, under any circumstances, use abusive language or harass B Star's staff, coaches and country representative. B Star reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, what constitutes abusive language and harassment, and where that has occurred; and may, partially or completely, deny service to any infringing party.
- Do not allow students, or other members of the household, to wear excessively informal attire or present against a messy background. If this happens, the B Star's coach will terminate the session and communicate the reason afterwards to the student or student's parent and B Star Head Quarter. The same applies if a student behaves inappropriately during the coaching session, and it may be necessary to take further action if this happens.
- As part of our safeguarding and quality assurance process, Parents and students are advised that a member of B Star Program Delivery Monitoring Team might pop-in to the session. They will aim to be as unobtrusive as possible and keep their audio and video feed muted. Parents or students will be notified in advance.
- As part of B Star's training process, Parents and student are advised that a trainee (Coach-to-be) might pop-in to the session. They will completely unobtrusive and keep their audio and video feed muted. Parents or students will be notified in advance.
- Agree to use Zoom as a platform for B Star Online Coaching sessions.
- Use of a network cable (wired internet connection) if it is more stable than Wi-Fi in your country. Wi-fi can be intermittent and give poorer quality connectivity in some countries.
- Student's computer / device is connected to power as online conferencing can drain battery power quickly.
- If using an external mic, headphones, or speakers check that everything is plugged in and working.
- Student will need a Desktop computer, Laptop or Tablet (at least 9 inches), with built in front facing camera and built in speakers and microphone. If you don’t have these, you will need to purchase a web cam and/or headphones.
- Mobile phone is not recommended for joining the B Star Online Coaching sessions.
- Student must be visible by the coach at all time during the session. Coach will contact the parent (if the student is under 18) if the student is not on screen for five minutes.
Learning Outcome
The results of using B Star's online coaching services may vary and depend upon a range of factors, such as student's background, dedication, desire and motivation. While all B Star's Coaching Programs are result driven, but immediate improvement cannot be guaranteed. To the full extent permitted by law, you will hold B Star blameless for any act or omission relating to the Service and you will indemnify B Star from any dispute, action, claim or proceedings relating to the provision of the Service to you or your child. B Star will not be responsible for any losses or damages.
Communication with Coach
- Only communicate with your coach during the coaching sessions arranged by B Star. B Star is not responsible for any communication between the student and Coach outside the coaching session, unless it is authorized by B Star, in relation to coaching related matters.
- B Star's coaches will be required to display a means by which they can be identified, such as B Star Coach ID on-screen, at all times during the lesson.
- Students and their parents/carers are reminded that Zoom is to be used for coaching sessions only and not for other contact with coaches, such as general messaging.
Use of Learning Content
All learning content which are supplied in an online environment are available for viewing online only and must not be downloaded or recorded (unless this is explicitly agreed in writing with B Star). It is only to be used by the student (you or your child) and the student must not provide access to this content to any third parties.
Similarly, The content of the online Coaching Materials, including copyright and all other such intellectual property rights contained therein, remain the property of B Star. You may not reproduce any part of the online Course Materials without the prior written consent of B Star.
B Star reserves all rights to make changes to coaching materials, content and assessment at any time without notifying any parties.
